Para ello, se estudiaron aspectos importantes como consumo, producción, y comercio del sector agrícola, pecuario y porcícola en Colombia. Por otro lado, se analizaron aspectos generales de producción y consumo en China, con el fin de validar la viabilidad de exportación de este producto. Al reunir toda la información se realizó un análisis de las cifras de producción y consumo entre ambos países en el cual se logró identificar que debido a la crisis de la fiebre aftosa la producción de este producto en China ha disminuido notablemente a diferencia de Colombia, país que cuenta con zonas libres certificadas de esta enfermedad epizoótica, lo que conlleva a que la exportación de carne de cerdo obtenga gran utilidad teniendo en cuenta los acuerdos que se están realizando actualmente.

For this, important aspects such as consumption, production, and trade of the agricultural, livestock and pig sector in Colombia were studied. On the other hand, general aspects of production and consumption in China were analyzed, in order to validate the export viability of this product.
