description La industria turística durante los últimos años se ha considerado en muchos países como uno de los renglones de la economía más importantes para el desarrollo. El crecimiento de la oferta de alojamiento ha crecido de la misma manera sin embargo el subsector de alojamiento en la tipología de hostales también ha tenido un fuerte crecimiento durante los últimos años, ya que se han vuelto más populares. Este proyecto se basa en fortalecer la calidad en los hostales del municipio de Villa de Leyva, en el primer capítulo se genera un análisis de oferta y demanda sobre el municipio, el cual incluye estadísticas claras acerca de los prestadores turísticos que se encuentran dentro del marco geográfico del municipio; el segundo capítulo contiene un diagnóstico de los prestadores turísticos con el fin de conocer el estándar de calidad y así poder fortalecer su calidad en la prestación del servicio. En el tercer capítulo y conforme al análisis realizado, se estructuró la propuesta que deben aplicar los hostales del municipio para brindar un servicio de calidad.

The growth of the accommodation offer has grown in the same way but the housing subsector in the type of hostels has also had a strong growth during the last years, since they have become more popular.
