Service, excellence, integral formation and dialogue between culture, science and faith are pillars in Ignatian philosophy. The PPI is a method that guides the teacher in “how” to apply said ideology to structure the teaching-learning processes. The openness, vision and adaptability of the Jesuits allows the PPI to be in force, being an alternative in the biomedical sciences. Its versatility allows it to be integrated into the pedagogical use of ICT.Esta revisión presenta un análisis del Paradigma Pedagógico Ignaciano (PPI), su vigencia, aplicación al proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje en ciencias biomédicas y la integración con las tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TICs). El servicio, la excelencia, la formación integral y el diálogo entre cultura, ciencia, fe, son pilares en la filosofía ignaciana. El PPI es un método que guía al maestro en “como” aplicar dicha ideología para estructurar los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje. La apertura, visión y capacidad de adaptación de los Jesuitas permite la vigencia del PPI, siendo una alternativa en las ciencias biomédicas.
