The Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF) joined this component through its program English Time (ET) in 2017, and it incorporated university practitioners to design, implement and evaluate activities: teaching sessions by levels, weekly conversation club, biweekly information pieces, and monthly language immersions. However, during the pedagogical practicum, in-service teachers identified the need to consolidate a conceptual and pedagogical model that supports the curricular design of the ET program, as well as the classification, evaluation, and monitoring of student learning at the different levels of the program.
