Contexto. El logro académico es uno de los aspectos principales en la vida académica de los estudiantes de bachillerato porque se considera un proxy del rendimiento académico y el proceso de aprendizaje. Más específicamente, el logro académico en matemáticas es especialmente importante porque esta se considera una habilidad básica. Por lo tanto, es necesario comprender cómo mejorar el rendimiento en matemáticas entre los estudiantes de bachillerato. Además, es importante entender esto en contextos como Colombia y América Latina debido al bajo rendimiento académico de la mayoría de los estudiantes en las pruebas de matemáticas. Objetivo. Este estudio pretende explorar las relaciones entre cinco factores contextuales y siete factores psicológicos, y entre estos factores y el logro matemático en un contexto colombiano. Academic achievement is one of the main aspects in the academic life of middle and high school students because it is considered as a proxy for academic performance and the learning process. More specifically, academic achievement in math is especially important because it is considered to be a basic skill. It is therefore necessary to understand how to improve math achievement among middle and high school students. Furthermore, it is important to understand this in contexts such as Colombia and Latin America due to the low academic achievement of most students in math tests. Objective.
