there are not researches focused on the influence over the organizational climate the way that the employees are paid. That is why the main aim of this project is evaluate if exist any relation between the use of a salary structure and the organizational climate. This paper presents an analysis of the organizational climate in thirty three companies located in the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Area that are part of the commercial and manufacturing sector
applying the “Instrumento de Medición de Clima Organizacional en Colombia IMCOC
to assess seven variables that could affect climate in the companies and compare the score of the organizational climate with the use or absence of salary structure using SPSS statistical software. The criteria considered for the selection of companies were the size (large and medium) and the sector of the economy to which they belong (commercial and manufacturing)
the companies were selected using Compite 360 the data base of the Bucaramanga Chamber of Commerce. The IMCOC was applied to a total of 1.154 employees in the thirty three companies and that were characterized according to the models of salary structure found in the literature as are wage assignment inherent of the role
market and achievement of goals or companies without any salaries system.
