In this research it was made the diagnosis of current state of horizontal signaling
vertical signaling
municipality of Los Santos
located between the PR15+000 and PR19+ 000. By the method visual inspection and with help of Manual for maintenance road network secondary developed by the Ministry of Transport
Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and the Manual for visual inspection of flexible pavements developed by Universidad Nacional de Colombia

additionally a vehicular and pedestrian capacity was realized. The data collected in the field was preceded by the creation of a database of the area by means of ArcGIS software
in order to facilitate the identification of the existing characteristics of pavement
horizontal and vertical signaling along the 4 km of the road stretch. The vehicular and pedestrian capacity was realized with the only objective of knowing the time of maximum demand for the days in which the counts were made (2 typical days and 2 atypical days) in the hours comprised from 6am to 6pm. The current conditions of vertical
horizontal and pavement signs are located are not adequate to provide a quality service to the large number of users that transit through the road segment
