ChemTreat is a leading specialty chemicals company that develops projects including industrial water treatment
boiler and wastewater program design
physicochemical treatment of oily residues
bidding processes and process improvement projects. Most of these projects are managed based on the experience of the personnel involved in the company and has been involved for years in the implementation of projects
with extensive technical knowledge but few skills for project management. ChemTreat doesn´t have a basic methodology or guidance entitling members of project teams to engage actively and safely in starting and project-planning stages that allows increase the likelihood of success according to the criteria defined by the organization. Over five chapters is developed a model of initiation and planning of projects using the set of best practices and tools of the PMBOK® Guide that are commonly applicable to projects by the ChemTreat company. Also develops and designs a set of templates that can be used by the project team as a tool for project management
groups and start planning an agile
flexible and successful way. The model developed initiation and planning of projects includes tables that will guide the user in the use of designed templates and proposed training plan to integrate the methodology developed in the management of new ChemTreat projects.
