The network reconfiguration in distribution systems is realized by changing the status of sectionalizing switches on the network
to modify the topology of the same one in order reduce the power loss in the system. This work presents the implementation of a method of exhaustive search to find the configuration that maximizes the efficiency
in addition there is realized the search of the configuration that minimizes the percentage of voltage regulation of the system. The implemented algorithm establishes all the possible combinations in the conditions of the switching devices
which allows the activation of as many sections of line as points of load the system has
with what in radial operation the supply is guaranteed to all the points of load. Later there is evaluated for every possible opposing configuration the condition of radial operation
rejecting those that do not fulfill it; to find the efficiency and the percentage of voltage regulation of the system in every approved configuration
there was implemented the method of sweep - sum of currents to evaluate the flow of power; once the efficiency is computed
the percentage of voltage regulation for every configuration determines the one that achieves the fulfillment of the raised aims. The algorithm is tested in a system of 33 nodes and 37 sections of line
