The realization of an after sales preventive maintenance plan as a solution to the COLLISION´S problem. This company is dedicated to importation and distribution of equipment and specialized machinery
all focused on automotive maintenance sector. The investigation starts with the collection of all the details and historical information
after that it was applied a maintenance audit
which was composed by a complete survey answered by different collision´s employees
focused mainly on maintenance technicians
in order to identify the business areas with more failures. Then
it was performed an analysis of all collision´s customers list
it was found that SOFASA S.A. is the one with more quantity of equipment
after that could be determined a trend or behavior of machines failures. Later
a Pareto chart was done to all Sofasa equipment with the purpose of establish the most critical machines. Afterwards a codification was made in order to easily identify each customer with all their machines associated; this codification was created taking into account the 3 regions where Collision offers services. Due to the large quantity of information that Collision has to manage (each machine has a considerable number of independent parts) it was needed a complementary analysis that allowed to identify which of all the parts in the multiples cutting machines are the truly critical
in order to provide a better way to inventory management. It was used an information system named SAIM for Collision SCS data management.

description La realización de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo post-venta, como solución a los problemas de COLLISION S.C.S. una empresa dedicada a la importación y distribución de equipos y maquinaria especializada y enfocada hacia el mantenimiento automotriz. El estudio empieza con la recopilación de la información, haciendo una auditoría de mantenimiento, la cual consta de una encuesta a diferentes personas de la empresa, enfocando al personal encargado de realizar los mantenimientos, en donde se identifica cuáles son las áreas con falencias en la empresa. Se realiza un análisis de los clientes de la empresa COLLISION S.C.S, encontrando que la empresa Sofasa S.A. es la que mayor maquinaria ha adquirido, permitiendo observar un comportamiento de falla de los quipos vendidos, luego se realiza un análisis de Pareto a la maquinaria de SOFASA S.A con el fin de conocer cuáles máquinas son las más críticas. Posteriormente se crea una codificación para reconocer desde los clientes hasta cada máquina que poseen, esta codificación se analizó teniendo en cuenta tres regiones en las cuales COLLISION presta sus servicios a nivel nacional. Se hace un análisis complementario que muestre cuales de esas piezas que existen en los despieces, son las más críticas, para facilitar el estudio que se debe aplicar al manejo del inventario de la empresa. Se hace uso de un sistema de información para el manejo de los datos de la empresa COLLSION S.C.S. llamado SAIM.
