The objective of the proposed project is to analyze the behavior of vehicular traffic from the point of view of the ability of the system from "Three Corners" to toll "Los Santos"; this is due to the collection of information on the predominant type of vehicle and its behavior in the road system; also analyze the elements of the existing road profile and assess vehicular traffic behavior qualitatively; through traffic counts at certain strategic points such that information on the number of vehicles passing in a weekly period is obtained and thus calculate the annual average daily traffic and based on this make a future projection
thereby determining the road capacity and service levels that present making a comparison between the Colombian operating capacity and service levels for two-lane highways and American standards HCM 1994 HCM 2000
in order to make an estimate of the official technical classification of the road section taking into account the parameters established in the regulations for roads. And based on your study
determine if the section is suitable for the present traffic
and otherwise specify solutions stretch of road improvements.

El objetivo del proyecto propuesto es analizar el comportamiento del tránsito vehicular desde el punto de vista de la capacidad del sistema desde os Santos; esto se debe a la recopilación de información sobre el tipo de vehículo predominante y su comportamiento en el sistema vial; además analizar los elementos del perfil vial existentes, y evaluar el comportamiento vehicular del tránsito de manera cualitativa; por medio de aforos en ciertos puntos estratégicos de tal manera que se obtenga información sobre el número de vehículos que pasa en un periodo semanal y así calcular el tránsito promedio diario anual y con base a este realizar una proyección futura, determinando así la capacidad vial y los niveles de servicio que presente haciendo una comparación entre el manual colombiano de capacidad y niveles de servicios para carreteras de dos carriles y las normas americanas HCM 1994 y HCM 2000, con el fin de hacer un estimativo de la clasificación técnica oficial del tramo vial teniendo en cuenta los parámetros establecidos en la normativa para carreteras secundarias.
