The integrated mass transit system has been presenting Metrolínea dissatisfaction among users because delays occur on different routes. In order to contribute to achieving information to the Integrated mass transit system for improving the same
a study was conducted of time and delays submitted
applied to some system routes (T1
T3
P10
P8
AP1
AB2). For this They were chosen Wednesday and Thursday in the afternoon rush hour
and on Saturday morning in the rush hour as representative days. travel and respective distances of each route. Paths and travel speeds were symbolized through the ArcGIS program
with the visualization of what is presented in the system. In each route they were symbolized two days
the Saturday and the most critical day between Wednesday and Thursday. They showed routes that do not have exclusive lane that have additional delays in travel times and that the routes do not meet their design speeds found in the CONPES documents
as there are sections in which routes have a high rate of congestion.
