This final report of social practice shows the intervention of Social Work in the process of Comprehensive Care for Early Childhood in the Social Garden of the Colombian Family Welfare Institute in the municipality of Piedecuesta
Santander
which was developed taking into account four areas of intervention: The Individual attention in the process of guidance to beneficiaries and family members in the program. Implementing parent schools as a tool for strengthening parenting. Home visits as an effective tool to identify family dynamics and their environment
as well as a means of tracking priority cases. Interagency and interdisciplinary coordination with entities of the National Family Welfare System. The experience allowed us to identify and analyze the implications of family dynamics and environment in boys and girls both individually and socially beneficiaries
according to the context in which they develop. Finally
after the evaluation and analysis to the work done
it is proposed to strengthen action initiatives promoted by community leaders
the interdisciplinary and inter-institutional participation of the municipality
enabling the increased participation in social development projects.
