In the Colombian environment it is often observed that structures in reinforced concrete are widely used in construction industry
which causes a noticeable demand for concrete and reinforcement steel
where steel supply is causing losses and delays in construction processes due to: the large number of elements required
different geometric shapes
the supply planning mistakes
capacity of steel figuration of specialized workshops
material storage
among others. Currently
the use of BIM technology has become more important in engineering projects management around the world
because it provides the opportunity to develop models of construction process BIM5D (width
height
depth
time and cost) of civil works where is possible to have a virtual simulation of the construction process
enabling better decision-making in the planning stage of projects; Also
the dynamics system modelling allows us a better understanding of how the variables related to the supply and instalation of steel developes over time and how to manage them. This article is based on modeling technologies BIM 5D and dynamics of systems to develop planning and installation of reinforcing steel in structures in reinforced concrete
our study case is the station "Portal Giron.of the Integrated Public Transport Systems in the Metropolitan area of Bucaramanga
