It is offering a public higher education institution. As the first component of the outline proposal
the integration of pragmatic and attitudinal component to the subject Biomaterials Science and the respective development of conceptual
procedural and attitudinal skills that enrich the professional profile of Metallurgical Engineering in the fields of academic performance it is proposed
research and industrial; as a second component including the Strategy for Teaching and Learning Based on Projects has demonstrated through various research backgrounds optimal results in the area of engineering and the implementation of the Action Research as methodology for the development of the proposal raises ; finally
as a third component design of a didactic unit referred Techniques Characterization and Evaluation of Biomaterials that is useful guide for better planning and development of class issues is developed. Thus
it is intended to promote the teaching and learning in a specific context of intervention in education of engineers
