The object of the present grade work
is to contribute with the mission of the INDUSTRIAL UNIVERSITY DE SANTANDER
of forming professionals of high quality
fomenting the study of the phenomenon of the fatigue
by means of the design and construction of a machine that it allows the test of samples to revolving flexion and alternative flexion
based on the norm ASTM E606 [1]. The fatigue is one of the most important causes in flaw of the parts of a machine
and therefore of not foreseen stops of the production
in companies where industrial machinery is required. Of all the flaws for fracture that they happen in the industry
approximately 90% is due to problems of fatigue in the materials [2]. Different factors like the geometric
environmental
mechanical metallurgists exist
among other that are the causing of the fatigue in materials
these factors impact in the increase of the local efforts and therefore in the beginning of the fatigue. The bank of tests presents a design to modulate that consists of a structure it supports
a system of application of power and a mensuration system and control
