El Fracturamiento Hidráulico es una técnica que se ha venido usando en Colombia con el propósito de mejorar la producción de los pozos, especialmente para atravesar zonas con daño y garantizar la conexión entre el pozo y el yacimiento. A nivel mundial el Fracturamiento Hidráulico se ha extendido rápidamente a la extracción de hidrocarburos de difícil acceso, lo que se conoce con el nombre de Yacimientos No Convencionales, este gran avance ha permitido aumentar los recursos técnicamente recuperables y disminuir la importación de hidrocarburos de algunos países, como es el caso de los Estados Unidos. Colombia es un país que cuenta con reservas de yacimientos convencionales aproximadamente para siete años, ubicándolo en un punto donde debe explorar para aumentar sus reservas, si no quiere entrar a hacer parte del grupo de países no productores. El potencial de recursos técnicamente recuperables en yacimientos no convencionales de Colombia es apreciable, lo cual justifica el contenido de este escrito para realizar un análisis de la evolución de los fluidos de fracturamiento y propantes, queriendo entender el estado de maduración de esta técnica, por ello es bueno contar con las empresas que prestan este servicio y conocer características de sus productos, también involucrar los posibles impactos ambientales del uso del fracturamiento, todo esto con el objetivo de establecer técnicas que posibiliten la explotación de estos hidrocarburos presentes en formaciones como La Luna en Colombia, basándose en trabajos de gran éxito como los realizados en la formación Eagle Ford de Estados Unidos. |
