This work presents a compilation of information on the technical of accelerated bridge construction (CAP)
English Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC)
which offers significant advantages over conventional construction. This is due to traffic disruption is reduced
improving the safety of the work zone and reduces environmental impacts in the construction sector. To carry out such work about the experience of different projects design and construction of urban bridges built with ideology (CAP / ABC) in the United States is collected and compared with respect is made to the Colombian construction techniques bridges urban environments. the IDU (Urban Development Institute) It is who performs the works of the road network of the Colombian capital. Currently
this developing road projects involving the construction of new bridges
such as the 100 street race 15
meeting the demands of traffic due to population growth and marketing vehicles. Traffic congestion has negatively affected economic growth and has sparked some dissent by citizens; in effect government entities and private transportation partners constantly struggle raising strategies to alleviate vehicular traffic.

Este trabajo presenta una recopilación de información sobre las técnicas de construcción acelerada de puentes (CAP), en inglés Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC), que ofrece ventajas significativas sobre la construcción convencional.
