This work presents a compilation of information on the technical of accelerated bridge construction (CAP)
English Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC)
which offers significant advantages over conventional construction. This is due to traffic disruption is reduced
improving the safety of the work zone and reduces environmental impacts in the construction sector. To carry out such work about the experience of different projects design and construction of urban bridges built with ideology (CAP / ABC) in the United States is collected and compared with respect is made to the Colombian construction techniques bridges urban environments.
