La educación del siglo XXI exige que los estudiantes universitarios estén en capacidad de desarrollar diferentes tipos de competencias que vayan más allá de su campo de acción y que les permita ser transformadores del contexto que los rodea. Por ello, es indispensable que las instituciones de Educación Superior como centros del saber desarrollen desde las practicas académicas escenarios de construcción y fortalecimiento de nuevas competencias encaminadas a la formación integral del aprendiz. En las Instituciones de Educación Superior, específicamente en el área de las ingenierías los profesores no se preocupan por fortalecer las competencias comunicativas de sus estudiantes, limitándolas únicamente en talleres de lenguaje que se dan al inicio de las carreras y no tomando en consideración la importancia de desarrollar en los estudiantes competencias de egreso no solo cognitivas sino comunicativas, prácticas y acciones que deben ser asumidas desde el contexto de universidad - empresa en las que los egresados de estos programas se desempeñaran. A partir de lo anterior, se hace necesario diseñar una propuesta didáctica de escritura de ensayos académicos fundamentada en principios derivados del concepto de formación integral y orientada desde el enfoque constructivista en la que el estudiante logre desarrollar un saber, un saber hacer y un saber ser. |
