El presente trabajo presenta el estudio de los posibles factores que generaron la falla del talud localizado en el Km 22, sobre la vía que conduce de Bucaramanga a Tona, con base en las condiciones climáticas, topográficas, sísmicas, geológicas y geotécnicas de la zona. El estudio consistió en la descripción geológica, morfológica y climática de la zona y la caracterización geomecánica del talud realizada mediante ensayos de laboratorio, seguido de un análisis de eventos de precipitaciones y sismos en referencia a la fecha en que se presume ocurrió el deslizamiento; finalmente se realizó la modelación en el software Slope/w, incluyendo la superficie de falla más probable, de acuerdo al tipo de movimiento presentado. El talud se modeló en condición estática, dinámica y bajo saturación total; los modelos se analizaron en condición previa al deslizamiento y en situación actual. Como los modelos con sismo y saturación total resultaron ser la situación más crítica, se llegó a la conclusión de que el agua infiltrada producto de las intensas lluvias, en la época invernal 2010-2011, fue la causante de la falla, y para prevención de futuros deslizamientos bajo el mismo efecto, se proponen medidas de mitigación que incluyen la canalización de las aguas de escorrentía, revegetalización y terraceo del talud. |
