This document aims to make an improvement in the maintenance strategy that is implemented in the company TURGAS S.A
identifying weaknesses in personnel
plant and equipment
and reduce the number of unplanned shutdowns that occur. Similarly the ranking of the teams and improving the system promote more detailed information on preventing failures that may arise analysis. Preventive maintenance model based on the time of the analysis of component failures since most of these have an easily identifiable duration
which concludes that this model is the best suited to the company. In determining the critical rotating equipment using a matrix result by chance
it is possible to increase the rate of mean time between failures with which maintenance resources can be better addressed in a more efficient and safer. In system analysis tool Pareto diagram which indicates according to criticality analysis which are the most vital (20%) and which the most trivial (80%) is used. The classification of equipment
parts and components is carried out on the basis of the ISO 14224 standard
this allows a collection of reliable data in a standard format with which not only the internal processing of this information is guaranteed
trend analysis and records but also in the future to access international OREDA database
data available for the hydrocarbon industry
