all these problems generated by the anthropogenic development. Through a literature review related to the different problems and solutions through the use of clean technologies developed by the multidisciplinary work of biotechnology
microbiology and mining bioleaching as a new alternative for processing low-grade ore and refractory was created. Justification: Bioleaching as technology appears as a tool for developing a clean and environmentally friendly mining
methods and protocols which gives us the bioleaching allow the identification
isolation and cultivation of microorganisms having the ability to dissolve and expose minerals by processes natural metabolic directly or indirectly in areas where low-grade ores or refractory to conventional methods make harvesting is expensive and polluting are. Being a relatively new technology has its advantages and disadvantages compared to the current mining methods. Conclusion: bioleaching is the future of mining and environmental conservation
development and progress in this area guarantee future generations the reduction and mitigation of pollutants that preserve resources such as water

La minería a nivel mundial y nacional genera diariamente toneladas de contaminante que son arrojados a los diferentes afluentes hídricos, suelos y el aire en sus procesos de extracción y tratamiento de los diferentes minerales; la destrucción de una gran variedad de ecosistemas ha llevado a los grandes países, a la toma de conciencia sobre las consecuencias que trae el excesivo uso de sustancias químicas en la minería, que contaminan a nuestro planeta y el preocupante cambio del estado climático, el calentamiento global, toda esta problemática generada por el desarrollo antropogénicas. Mediante una revisión bibliográfica relacionada con los diferentes problemáticas y soluciones mediante el uso de tecnologías limpias desarrolladas por el trabajo multidisplinario de la biotecnología, la microbiología y la minera se creó la biolixiviación como una nueva alternativa para el proceso de minerales de baja ley y refractarios. Justificación: La biolixiviación como tecnología aparece como una herramienta para desarrollar una minería limpia y amigable con el ambiente, los métodos y protocolos que nos brinda la biolixiviación permiten la identificación, aislamiento y cultivo de microorganismos que tienen la capacidad de disolver y exponer los minerales, mediante procesos metabólicos naturales en forma directa o indirecta en áreas donde se encuentran minerales de baja ley o refractarios que por métodos convencionales hacen que su explotación sea costosa y contaminante. Por ser una tecnología relativamente nueva tiene sus ventajas y desventajas en comparación con los métodos mineros actuales. Conclusión: La biolixiviación es el futuro de la minería y del medio ambiente, el desarrollo y avance en esta área garantizan a las nuevas generaciones la disminución y mitigación de contaminantes que permitan preservar los recursos como el agua, los suelos y parte del aire |
