Mining globally and nationally generated daily tons of pollutant that are thrown into the various water streams
soil and air in their process of extraction and processing of different minerals; the destruction of a variety of ecosystems has led to large countries
the awareness of the consequences it brings excessive use of chemicals in mining
polluting our planet and the worrying state of climate change
warming overall
all these problems generated by the anthropogenic development. Through a literature review related to the different problems and solutions through the use of clean technologies developed by the multidisciplinary work of biotechnology
microbiology and mining bioleaching as a new alternative for processing low-grade ore and refractory was created. Justification: Bioleaching as technology appears as a tool for developing a clean and environmentally friendly mining
methods and protocols which gives us the bioleaching allow the identification
isolation and cultivation of microorganisms having the ability to dissolve and expose minerals by processes natural metabolic directly or indirectly in areas where low-grade ores or refractory to conventional methods make harvesting is expensive and polluting are. Being a relatively new technology has its advantages and disadvantages compared to the current mining methods. Conclusion: bioleaching is the future of mining and environmental conservation
development and progress in this area guarantee future generations the reduction and mitigation of pollutants that preserve resources such as water
soil and of the air
