The vapor recovery unit VRU is a plant whose main objective is focused on maximizing the recovery
treatment and ethane-ethylene separation product of a refinery catalytic cracking
obtained through a low temperature process and used as raw material in the industry mainly in the manufacture of polyethylene
but its output has been affected by unscheduled downtime and system failures. Therefore looking to solve this problem and to estimate optimum operating scenario the composition of the load unit is identified
a detailed analysis of the ground
step by step description for insight into every phase of the process is done
consumables required
main control variables such as ranges within windows operating temperatures and pressure levels to maintain a final product within specifications. As part of reliability it is necessary to know the rotating and static equipment that currently make up the plant
the same basic care as preventative maintenance. It is very important to know the steps of stopping and starting and emergency response in order to maintain the integrity of the process and people. Finally improvement alternatives and the final conclusions are proposed.
