Due to the increasing demand for electric energy and pollution
product of the use of fossil fuels for the generation
transport and distribution of this energy is evident
the importance of households within the perspective of management and energy savings in this way
in this work of degree presents the development and implementation of a user interface that allows to remotely monitor the consumption of electrical energy per sub-measurement per branch circuit in a smart home. It was investigated about the smart home
to identify their components
their applications and their technical characteristics; for subsequently propose a system of residential energy management
that allows monitoring the consumption of electrical energy
by means of a user interface
in this case a web page. The objective of this tool web is to provide users with more detailed information of the electric energy consumption of the house
making it possible to identify the consumption of Electric Energy in [kWh] of the devices in the home. In this way
it seeks to create awareness among the users so that they can take corrective actions and implement energy management plans that allow for a rational and efficient use of the resource within the intelligent home.
