In the present degree work are investigated the principal alternative materials of natural or organic origin that can be used as supplies of composite laminated glued materials used in the industry. For this reason
were characterized both static and dynamic properties of a composite laminated glued material made of the stem of lata's palm (Bactris Guineensis) as principal constituent for the elaboration of this. Through these studies can be evidence that the properties of hardness and ultimate tensile strength reach values up to 27.5 [HV] and 354 [MPa] in the perimeter zone of the stem of the lata's palm (Bactris Guineensis)
however
these properties are degraded in the central zone of the stem
because in that zone the fibers were soft and with a high percent of humidity. Based on the results was obtained the stress-strain diagram purpose by Whöler is possible to evidence that the bark of the stem of lata’s palm (Bactris Guineensis) has important characteristics of fragility and an ultimate tensile strength average of 247 [MPa]
who determine the performance of the material. Finally
the constants of the σ-N curve equation given by Basquin represent as σ=A*N^b were calculated
where the constants are A= 322 and b=-0.0601.
