The following work belongs to a business plan under a franchise model
according to its strategic plan for growth of the super market chain SUPER SIETE located in the Area Metropolitana of Bucaramanga. In order to obtain a more in-depth analysis of this proposal a diagnostic regarding the current situation of Super Siete Plus S.A.S. was completed
identifying organizational and financial capacities required to the establishment of the proposed model. In addition
various investigations regarding the above franchise were performed
including its conceptual framework
advantages
statistic and legal considerations for its implementation. As a mean to determine the size of the market and the intention of possible acquisitions of already existing Super Sietes and potential new investors
an extensive market research with a size of 223 independent super markets located in the Area Metropolitana de Bucaramanga (AMB) was performed; As well as technical studies
financial analyses
the design of a commercialization plan for the franchise and the building of operating
technic
capacitation and training
marketing
logistics and pre-operation manuals looking to standardize the operations of a franchisee. Based on the financial results of the company
a projection for a period of three years was formulated in which we were able to determine that the franchise SUPER SIETE is a viable enterprise
and financially appealing due to its positive cash flow since its second year of operation and its capacity to return on investment in two years. Ultimately
the legal aspects that structure a franchise contract were taken into count
making this work a valuable input for the franchisor as a starting point for the implementation of this business unit.
