Currently
the maintenance for any organization is a fundamental pillar for their development and growth; based on this premise the design and implementation of a maintenance plan for the Asfaltos y Emulsiones de Colombia S.A.S. was developed. To establish the current state of the automotive fleet
and maintenance practices in the company
was conducted a maintenance audit
step followed were taken the main systems in which the vehicles are divided and was collected the main functional failures presented by each of them. Using the Pareto analysis the critical failures were found and strategies for the solution were proposed through RCM methodology posed to us by a preventive maintenance based on possible functional breakdowns. Having a detailed analysis of the functional failures
a series of recommendations based on the maintenance manuals offered by manufacturers are given with some adjustment depending of the operating conditions of the vehicles. Finally
with established strategies
it proceeds to implement the preventive maintenance plan supported by the information system developed parallel to research allowing to control of different aspects such as vehicle registration
drivers registration
work orders
service orders and checklists
recording and tracking inventory in order to have real-time updates and monitoring of availability of the assets of the company in order to have the maximum availability of the automotive fleet.
