RESUMEN: Actualmente, el examen es la estrategia metodológica más utilizada para dar cuenta de los resultados de aprendizaje de los estudiantes, por lo cual, este impone un peso fundamental en su vida académica, lo que conlleva a enfocarse de una manera obsesiva en el examen y que a su vez genera una preocupación que afecta su salud mental, emocional y física. Es por esto, que esta investigación se centra en identificar algunos juegos como estrategia para la evaluación y la enseñanza en matemáticas, como posibilidad de mejorar las percepciones y emociones que tienen los estudiantes frente a esta área. La investigación posee un alcance descriptivo y enfoque cualitativo, y un tipo de estudio de casos instrumental. Se encontró que el examen concluyentemente es causal de algunas dificultades emocionales que afectan el desempeño académico del estudiante, y además su relación con otros factores que hacen parte de su vida cotidiana, por otro lado, se hallaron juegos que prometen ser una solución a las dificultades emocionales, a otros problemas académicos que presenta a lo largo de su proceso de formación y promueven a forjar las relaciones en el aula y su pensamiento crítico y desarrollo cognitivo. |

This is why this research focuses on identifying some games as a strategy for assessment and teaching in mathematics, as a possibility of improving the perceptions and emotions that students have in this area. The research has a descriptive scope and qualitative approach, and an instrumental type of case study.
