description RESUMEN. Este artículo describe un proyecto de investigación, cuyo objetivo fue contribuir a los procesos de educación superior inclusiva, con algunos lineamientos que favorezcan el desarrollo de currículos flexibles e inclusivos y que a su vez permita la participación de personas con discapacidad intelectual en la educación superior. El proyecto de investigación surge al vivenciar que a pesar de la pluralidad de población en la Universidad de Antioquia no hay total participación en la vida académica. La investigación se realizó desde una perspectiva cualitativa de carácter exploratorio, ya que no se cuenta con mucha información que refiera el tema. La recolección de información se realizó con entrevistas a coordinadores de programas de pregrado del área de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas, se hizo además un rastreo en los planes de estudio y en documentos ministeriales. Una de las conclusiones del estudio, es que las personas entrevistadas y los programas revisados, no tienen total claridad sobre el currículo flexible e inclusivo, por lo que el tema queda abierto e invita a profundizarse. Los programas cuentan con algunas incidencias frente al tema de currículo flexible e inclusivo que se encuentran determinadas en los documentos ministeriales; y estos aspectos que respalda la participación de personas con discapacidad.

The objective of the study is to contribute to inclusive higher education processes, with some guidelines that favor the development of flexible and inclusive curricula that allow the participation of people with intellectual disabilities in higher education; This arose from the experience that despite the plurality of the population at the University of Antioquia, there is no total participation in academic life. It was carried out from a qualitative, exploratory perspective, since there is not much information on the subject.
