RESUMEN: Este trabajo presenta los resultados de una investigación de carácter cualitativo cuyo propósito fue la evaluación del Geogebra para determinar implicaciones didácticas relacionadas con el uso de este tipo de recurso educativo en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de las matemáticas. El estudio indagó, partiendo de las percepciones de estudiantes y docente, las debilidades y fortalezas de este recurso y dedujo implicaciones en el aprendizaje significativo. Se realizaron tres talleres para el análisis de los diferentes tipos de funciones con estudiantes del grado 11 del Colegio Colombo Francés del municipio de La Estrella (Antioquia, Colombia); estos talleres fueron objeto de reflexión sobre cuatro aspectos centrales: dificultades más comunes al implementar el recurso; fortalezas que puedan orientar reflexiones didácticas; descripción de las interacciones entre estudiantes y docente que fortalecen la aplicación del Geogebra; y principales necesidades para mejorar las intervenciones en el aula. |

The study inquired −based on perceptions of students and teacher− the weaknesses and strengths of these resource´s implications deducing in this way a meaningful learning. Three workshops were implemented to analyze the different types of functions with students of 11th grade at the French Colombo High School, Municipality of La Estrella (Antioquia, Colombia).
