Summary: | The idea of developing this project arises from the reality we are going through. Currently in society, diabetes constitutes a very high percentage of death, according to the WHO (World Health Organization) in Colombia, the death rate from Diabetes for 2020 was 18.27, in this way according to the study carried out by the organization world health in Colombia there has been an increase in deaths from this disease since 2016 when the mortality rate was 14.88. Since that year, a sustained increase has been observed, given that in just four years, this mortality rate went from 14.88 to 18.27. In the city of Santa Marta there are few companies that sell desserts and cakes for diabetics, and those that do exist offer a limited portfolio for this type of consumer, according to the surveys carried out. In this sense, a business opportunity is observed that is accompanied by favorable figures for any investor, given that the healthy food sector is growing by the order of 10%, and the number of people suffering from diabetes also does so significantly with an annual growth of 5%. Therefore, the main objective is to design a business plan to take advantage of the opportunities represented by serving this growing segment and being able to satisfy its needs while helping to create a culture of good food. |
