En la presente investigación se analizaron los imaginarios sociales sobre la actividad física de un grupo de cinco docentes del Colegio Rural el UVAl, ubicado en la localidad de USME (Bogotá), con el fin de reconocer sus percepciones frente a la importancia de este tipo de actividades para la salud, el bienestar y el desarrollo personal y de sus estudiantes. Para ello, se aplicó un grupo focal y una entrevista individual con cada uno de los docentes, comprendiendo la forma en que han construido sus conocimientos sobre la actividad física. La orientación del diseño y aplicación del método y de los instrumentos se orienta a través de un análisis conceptual en torno a conceptos claves, como los imaginarios sociales, comprendidos como construcciones colectivas de conocimientos que se comparten a nivel social y que permiten establecer sentidos y significados sobre los diferentes temas y situaciones. También se partió de un análisis sobre la importancia de la actividad física en el entorno escolar y sobre la situación actual del docente en los espacios rurales. Algunos de los resultados obtenidos demuestran como los imaginarios sociales que tienen los docentes frente a la actividad han sido creados desde las vivencias de cada docente y las circunstancias de su cotidianidad pero en muy pocos casos se cuenta con un conocimiento específico o un concepto claro del tema mencionado. |
