Pereira. 2018Resumen: En el presente artículo de reflexión teórica se revisa el papel de la cultura en los procesos de enseñanza–aprendizaje y la relación que existe entre esta y la práctica docente, recogiendo algunos conceptos fundamentales de la teoría de la cognición situada. Se habla inicialmente de la escuela y del rol que cumple el docente en dicho escenario, después se trabaja el concepto de cultura y la manera cómo ésta influye en la práctica educativa y por último se aborda la teoría de la cognición situada haciendo énfasis en el concepto de conocimiento situado en los contextos educativos. Además se reconoce el papel que realiza el docente dentro del proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje, más que como quien sólo imparte un conocimiento específico, como agente social dentro del proceso educativo; y de igual manera se resalta el papel que desempeña la cultura, como elemento fundamental para el desarrollo de una mejor práctica docente. \ Abstract: In this article of theoretical reflection is reviewed the role of culture in the teaching-learning process and the relationship between this and teaching practice, collecting some fundamental concepts of the theory of situated cognition. We will initially talk about the school and the role that the teacher plays in that scenario, then we will work on the concept of culture and how it influences the educational practice and finally the theory of situated cognition is emphasized with emphasis on the concept of knowledge located in educational contexts. Also recognizes the role played by the teacher in the teaching – learning process, more than as someone who only imparts specific knowledge, as a social agent within the educational process; and likewise the role of culture is highlighted, as a fundamental element for the development of a better teaching practice.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
