description Este estudio cualitativo de investigación-acción en el aula, se propone describir el impacto de un ambiente significativo de aprendizaje creado a través de actividades realizadas de forma colaborativa, sobre el desarrollo de actitudes de auto-regulación en estudiantes de quinto grado en el Colegio Aníbal Fernández de Soto (IED), durante el aprendizaje de inglés como lengua extranjera. Para tal fin, se propone la aplicación de una estrategia pedagógica que privilegie el trabajo en equipo y a su vez, permita a los estudiantes elaborar materiales que puedan asistir su proceso de aprendizaje, con la intención de brindarles un ambiente significativo, mientras siguen los parámetros de un proceso de auto-regulación que les ayude a adquirir hábitos de estudio.
