Collaboration was analyzed under two theoretical assumptions. First, the concept of Transactive Memory System TMS was used to analyze the distributed and shared cognition between the pairs. Second, Relevance Theory was used to understand the types of communication employed by the members of the collaborative pairs in the interaction processes. A non-experimental, mixed, repeated measures design was used. The main findings showed that the TMS generated between the learning teams affects achievement and that the nature of the task determines the levels of communication and types of messages exchanged in the collaborative learning process.PDFapplication/pdfspaUniversidad Pedagógica NacionalDoctorado Interinstitucional en EducaciónDoctorado en Educaciónhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Acceso abiertoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 InternationalSistema de Memoria Transactiva (TMS)Aprendizaje colaborativoACEVAComunicaciónInteracciónEntornos virtuales de aprendizajeTransactive Memory System (TMS)Collaborative learningACEVACommunicationInteractionVirtual Learning Environment (VLE)Análisis del proceso de colaboración entre estudiantes de diferente estilo cognitivo en entornos virtuales de aprendizaje.Collaboration process analysis between students of different cognitive style in virtual learning environments.info:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersionMonografía - Doctoradohttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_db06info:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersionAfacan, G., y Afacan, G.
