Description
Summary:Given the interest and importance of studies that intersect the intercultural and educational, we present here some reflections on the pedagogical challenges and theoretical perspectives of intercultural education. To do this, we assume that the world we live involves facing challenges of a different order; one of these challenges is to continue building an education capable of forming the individual to function in the complex and diverse society. This means that the Caribbean region requires an education that not only focuses on the transmission of new knowledge and learning skills and technology skills to perform in the workplace, but an education based on the recognition of cultural diversity and economic their social environment.
