La tendencia de las personas hacia un comportamiento sostenible aumenta paulatinamente, lo cual afecta la percepción sobre la industria hotelera, que presenta alto consumo de recursos no renovables. Para saber qué factores son más determinantes para el consumidor al momento de elegir un hotel eco-amigable, se realizó un estudio cuantitativo sobre una muestra de 180 observaciones de la ciudad de Cali-Colombia, mediante el método de regresión logística sobre tres constructos planteados: factores de elección del hotel en general, prácticas ecológicas percibidas por el consumidor para la elección de un hotel y estrategias de marketing desarrolladas por el hotel. Los resultados muestran que los turistas priorizan las prácticas ecológicas que realizan los hoteles, especialmente la gestión sostenible (particularmente la reducción de la contaminación) y las certificaciones ecológicas, además de la calidad de la infraestructura e inclusión en sus instalaciones a personas con movilidad reducida. De esta manera, la gerencia de los hoteles debe destacar estos aspectos significativos en su gestión dado que puede aumentar considerablemente las probabilidades de elección del hotel, siendo elementos que satisfacen la demanda del turista sostenible, aportando beneficios económicos y dando respuesta a la necesidad urgente de atender las demandas de protección para la sostenibilidad del planeta. |

To know which factors most are determining for the consumer when choosing an eco-friendly hotel, a quantitative study was carried out on a sample of 180 observations from the city of CaliColombia, using the logistic regression method on three proposed constructs: hotel choice factors in general, ecological practices perceived by the consumer for choosing a hotel and marketing strategies developed by the hotel. The results show that tourists prioritize the ecological practices conducted by hotels, especially sustainable management (specifically the reduction of pollution) and their ecological certifications, in addition to the quality of the infrastructure and the inclusion of people in their facilities with reduced mobility.
