Summary:This study aims to contribute to the Development of Arithmetic Thought, specifically the Multiplication Tables, relating it to the Plastic Arts, in fourth grade students of the Escuela Normal Superior del Distrito De Barranquilla. Based on a qualitative investigative approach, with a sociocritical paradigm and a participatory action research design, which seeks to give a philosophical floor to the problem dealt with, tracing an investigative route that allows achieving the proposed objectives, the population is made up of students from fourth grade and primary school teachers and the sample is fourth grade students for a total of 27 children.also the results obtained indicate that pedagogical strategies under a constructivist approach and planned in a different way, incorporating plastic arts strategies, allow students to be more open to new mathematical learning, without thinking of it as meaningless content; The students confirm that after having implemented the strategies they enjoyed learning with elements and tools that they did not know they could use and learn at the same time, it was of great pleasure and satisfaction for both teachers, children and parents when observe positive results after carrying out the research implementation
