The investigation is framed in the basic characteristics of the action research, whose object is the transformation of the educational and social practice, the permanent articulation of the investigation, the action and the formation throughout the investigation process, establishing two phases ( diagnosis and transformation) with a population of six teachers from the language area who make up a discussion group and classes were observed to carry out the documentary analysis and the creation of a working table in the learning community. The study showed that teachers do not have criteria in the use of reading strategies, and that the pedagogical transformation arises from reflection on their own classroom practices. Keywords: learning, exploratory question, reading comprehension, reading strategies.La presente investigación busca comprender el proceso de enseñanza de la comprensión lectora entre los docentes de secundaria en la Institución educativa Liceo Ariguaní de modo que se generen transformaciones en sus prácticas a partir de las reflexiones sobre la pregunta exploratoria como herramienta pedagógica. La investigación se encuentra enmarcada en las características básicas de la investigación acción, cuyo objeto es la transformación de la práctica educativa y/o social, la articulación permanente de la investigación, la acción y la formación a lo largo del proceso de investigación, estableciéndose dos fases (diagnostica y de transformación) con una población de seis docentes del área de lenguaje quienes integraron un grupo de discusión, se consultó bibliografía relacionada con dos categorías la pregunta y las estrategias de comprensión lectora, se observaron clases, se realizó análisis documental del plan de área y la conformación de una mesa de trabajo docente en comunidad de aprendizaje. Con los docentes participantes se construyó e implemento u plan de acción mediante la realización de talleres de formación. Se constató que los docentes le otorgan poca importancia a las estrategias lectoras y se limitan al contenido.
