Summary:This project aimed to propose strategies from the directives to improve critical reading and mathematics results in Saber 11 tests in the post-pandemic. Using a complementary paradigm, with a mixed focusing. The research is field research with a non-experimental design and included a sample of a rector, a coordinator and five teachers. Techniques such as documentary observation, semi-structured interviews and focus groups were used, using instruments such as documentary recording, interview guide and focused interview guide. The results indicated the performance of the Educational Institution during 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 were below the averages of the official territorial, departmental and national entities. A trend of improvement was observed in the results of the Saber 11 tests, although areas of concern persisted, such as the high percentage of students with low performance in mathematics. The directives adopted strategies such as continuous evaluation of academic performance and adaptation of teaching methods. The research highlights the importance of directive strategies to improve results in Saber 11 test in the post-pandemic. It is concluded that during the pandemic the results of the knowledge tests decreased their scores in the areas of mathematics and critical reading and in the post-pandemic there has been a slight increase. In addition, it is identified that the institution is applying strategies such as reinforcement programs, use of online educational platforms and curricular adaptation. Proposing to carry out continuous evaluation to adapt methods with the efficient use of resources, encouraging active participation in the classroom.
