Summary:Due to the importance of school evaluation within the teaching-learning process, the need arose to see it not only as a tool to implement or measure learning, but also to develop interdisciplinary competencies in basic areas. Hence the purpose of designing a proposal from school management that contributes to the resignification of evaluation and interdisciplinarity as a strategy for improving educational quality in secondary school students. This research studies the variables: evaluation, scientific interdisciplinarity and educational quality. The study is approached from a rationalistic-deductive approach and in correspondence with the epistemological approach, the quantitative and qualitative components are integrated from an integrated (mixed) vision. The units of analysis selected for the field design are: directors, teachers of the basic areas and students of the ninth grade. For the documentary analysis, the Institutional Educational Project (PEI), Institutional System for the Evaluation of students (SIEE) and ISFOPP43 of the Educational Quality of the La Salle Institute of Barranquilla are interpreted. From the perspective of field design, participatory research processes are viewed in the units of analysis belonging to the organizational context of teachers, managers and students, thus achieving in the results, fulfill the objective of the research project from the design of a proposal of curricular management based on evaluation and interdisciplinarity in basic areas that contributes to the strengthening of educational quality.
