Summary: | Reading comprehension is a key factor when students are faced with tests performed by the state to evaluate their academic and professional future (Knowledge Pro). This research, intended to correlate the total scores in reading comprehension tests and Saber Pro scores on tests assessing working memory, verbal intelligence and general intelligence through the collection of data obtained from the ICFES for the program psychology at the University of the Coast in the period 2011-1, the application of the test and the test RIAS PHC-reading Comprehension. Methodologically this research is correlational, cross-sectional which contrasts the total score variable in the Saber Pro, reading comprehension score in the Saber Pro, verbal intelligence, general intelligence and working memory. The results show that there is a significant relationship between important reading comprehension and working memory. ....
