Cuando en la actualidad se impulsa la formación basada en competencias, la obra de Edgar Morin se presenta fecunda en múltiples ideas que pudieran contribuir a enriquecer el debate, tomando en cuenta los desafíos que la crisis contemporánea impone, tanto al conocimiento científico como al estudio de los problemas humanos.
