Summary:The investigation(research) was based in understanding(including) the valuation that the students of Psychology did on his(her,your) cognitive and moral development when they committed academic plagiarism during his(her,your) formation(training) to discipline and to explain how these factors can generate or anticipate(prepare) it it, these students were chosen because they expire on condition of having committed plagiarism and having got a sanction for his(her,your) lack(mistake). The investigation(research) is qualitative, under the modality of interpretive study of case, the compilation of information went across technologies(skills) as individual interview to depth and documentary analysis, used to approach to the subjects, where they emerged information that were analyzed and categorized, to obtain the results of the study. There was identified how the students value his(her,your) cognitive and moral development after there being experienciado the plagiarism in his(her,your) formation(training) and led them to admitting that weaknesses exist in them from the cognitive and moral thing, which they must strengthen to get out of a jam itself(himself,herself) professionally. The results of the investigation(research) demonstrated that the students incurred the plagiarism for factors as the ignorance departing from the meaning of the same one, ignorance methodological and lacking in time for his(her,your) academic commitments, there was identified that failings exist from the above-mentioned cognitive thing to the capacities(aptitudes) that the individual must handle to be unrolled(developed) adequately in his(her,your) profession. Difficulties were demonstrated in his(her,your) moral development on having assumed the responsibilities of his(her,your) acts and the consequences that part with it, one concluded that from the educational thing there exist failings that must fortify in order that the students have suitable tools that help to improve his(her,your) difficulties.
