Summary:The purpose of this study was to analyze play as a strategy to promote values in school life in the second grade A of the Escuela Normal Superior del Distrito de Barranquilla. The type of research is qualitative and the paradigm is socio-critical, which allowed to generate a social change in I.E. This research allowed to implement didactic strategies that allowed to improve the behaviors of the students of second in the school coexistence, allowing to be change generators to promote healthy school climate environments. We also show the relevance of the teaching strategy in response to the problem raised. From the theoretical bases by Martinez (2012), Jiménez (2008), Parra (2004), Martinelli (2008), among others, which allowed us to support our theoretical and conceptual framework. As a result of the pedagogical strategy implemented, the physical and verbal aggressions in the students were reduced, allowing them to exercise their basic principles in order to improve their perception of school life.
