Summary:COVID 19 has revealed inequality in our country, being the educational field one of the most affected by this virus. While the majority of students in private schools have access to technological tools and good internet service, a large percentage of students in public schools lack these resources, either due to financial problems or because they live in remote places where there is no connectivity. This study that sought to analyze the teaching practice in elementary school in times of COVID19, based on a quantitative approach, of a non-experimental descriptive type, leaning on the documentary review of the subject under study and an online survey with scale Likert type, A questionnaire with 18 questions applied to the group of elementary school teachers of Lorencita Villegas De Santos Technical Departmental Educational Institution in El Banco Magdalena. The results show that despite the changes generated in teaching practice in terms of interaction with different members of the educational community and the use of technological tools during the isolation period, innovation has not neglected the specificities of teachers at the time of carrying out the pedagogical act, where the methodology and resources may vary, but the purpose concerning to the comprehensive training of a student is the most important thing despite the current situation of the country and the world due to COVID 19.
