Summary: | The purpose of the research was to determine the incidence of pedagogical strategies mediated by social networks and their contribution to reading comprehension. It was structured under a descriptive approach, with a quasi-experimental design focused on two variables: social networks and reading comprehension. A group of students (30 - Thirty) of 7th grade participate on the development of the activity; they are students from the Inocencio Chinca educational institution in Barranquilla-Colombia. Observation, interview and test (pretest and posttest) were used as an instruments. The results obtained evidences that we include as a paragraph and specifies the findings found in the pretest and then in the posttest, in the same way in direct observation. In conclusion, it was determined that the implementation of pedagogical strategies mediated by social networks allowed students to take an active role in the teaching-learning process. As well, it contributes to the development of reading skills and the construction of knowledge in a dynamic, attractive and playful way. |
