Description
Summary:The present research work called REDA, a strategy for the development of numerical variational thinking refers to open digital educational resources as elements that favor the development of numerical variational thinking of children in 3rd grade of primary school, in order to obtain a broad knowledge of the subject. It begins with the description of the approach of the problem focused on the strengths and weaknesses of the students and on the teaching methods that are currently used to guide classroom practices in mathematics and if they are relevant to generate student motivation. Then, a question is asked where we will give an answer at the end of this project. The general objective of our project is to determine the effectiveness of open digital educational resources in the development of numerical thinking of 3rd grade students. Following is an explanation helped by several theorists on which we rely to conduct our research: behavioral theories, meaningful learning, multiple intelligences and the theory of information processing. We have in the conceptual framework fundamental words such as mathematical thought, didactic strategies, teaching-learning process, digital contents among others. This research work was applied to children of 3 grade, with two groups, the experimental group, carrying out activities with them through of the computer, which resulted in a positive way for the children and the institution, and the control group. The research is descriptive, with a positivist paradigm, a quantitative methodology and a quasi-experimental design. With It was determined that through the REDA students are more motivated and is more relevant when developing the numerical thinking variational
